How to Speak So People Will Want to Listen

I am dedicated to helping you succeed in telling your story and making a difference. So when I find a resource you can benefit from I make sure to send it to you.  I just watched this video by Julian Treasure called, “How to Speak so People Will Listen.” It is a powerful addition to what I have been teaching and to what you can work on as you find and tell your story. His message is for us all in all parts of our lives.

Then watch this video. Listen to his powerful point of view. What is your message and your point of view? Which of his seven deadly sins of speaking are you still doing? Let’s be honest. He is so right. No one will listen if we are still doing these 7 deadly sins of speaking.

Which of the 4 corner stones of speaking he describes are you doing to use speaking to make real change in the world?

What he is teaching is powerful when combined with telling your authentic, personal story.  So ask yourself if you are speaking so people will want to listen. Are you telling your story? Decide to do one thing to move in that direction and then another and another!
