For many years, my story has not been told on this site; perhaps because I am committed to helping you find and write your soul story, rather than reading mine.
But, the time has come to give you some insight into who I am and why and how I was called to develop the InStory process.
I AM…
I am Devorah Spilman, professional storyteller, clown, puppeteer, actress, rock climber, wife, mother and grandmother. I like to describe myself as a Jewish spiritual creative (you will find much of the deep and somewhat wacky wisdom that I share has its roots in my Jewish culture). I am deep and wacky (always have been, always will be) and I love trees! During my daily forest walks, I have learnt to tune into the whispered wisdom trees impart – this has been the inspiration for my blog posts, titled A Blessing from the Trees, and my audio messages.
MY passion for storytelling has never diminished over the years, but now I am sharing the secrets of how I learned to listen to my soul’s calling and fulfil its vision of sharing my wisdom with the world.
THE STORY BEHIND INSTORY
Time and time again, I have heard women voice a deep-seated desire to not leave this world without finding and fulfilling their higher purpose, unleashing their creativity and telling their story. These soul-driven women recognise the need to shine their light and make a difference. They are seeking a way to use their life story to shift and shape their lives, to find lifelong joy and share it with the world.
In response to this deep need, I developed the InStory process to help these women – my soul sisters. Women, in that magical phase of their life, who have the freedom and time to discover their true self and their authentic stories and who trust their wisdom enough to release old beliefs and established patterns and transform into inspirational, powerful women who can make a difference.
Using my five-step process in the various InStory programs, I can teach anyone how to find and tell their authentic stories by tapping into their soul calling and developing their creative intuitive vision. It doesn’t matter how stuck in the goo you are or how long you’ve been mindlessly treading the wheel of life, I can help you create a meaningful life. It’s never too late (or too early) to tell your story.
