A Blessing from the Trees. On allowing

I am standing in my favorite spot in the forest.
And today, for the first time I saw new buds on the branches of the trees that lose their leaves.
There is green that is here all year long. The ferns, the moss, the evergreen trees. And then there are the ones that lose their leaves. And they come back. They come back.

A Blessing from the Trees

We bless you with faith.
The tears of your hearts are the water that nourishes the souls of your being, and allows you to grow.
You are beautiful soil.
Your soul is the soil of your life.
Let yourself water it with tears and love and joy.
With sun and light and wind and rain and trust and truth.
The soul of the soil of your being is the essence of who you are.
It is rich and fertile and you can trust it.
Allow seeds to be planted and sprouts to blossom fourth.
Trust the periods of time when the seed is below the surface and you cannot see it yet.
Allow the shell to crack open and the seed to reach up and burst forth.
You have cycles just as we do.
Allow yourself to notice.
Are you evergreen or deciduous right now?
Are you a seed, a sapling or a full tree?
Wherever you are, you are still growing.
It is a cycle and it is rich and true and deep and good, as are you.
Do not hide the fruit of your branches.
Do not hide beneath the soil when you have the urge to grow.
Do not hide behind the truth of your essence when it is calling you to let it shine forth.
Allow yourself to value trust, and share the fruits of your soil.
The fruits of your efforts, the essence of your soul.
Remember, you are unique and beautiful.
There are those who will find their lives nourished, healed, blessed and strengthened by the fruit you offer, the stories, you tell, the wisdom you share and the life you have lived.
You are beings of wisdom.
Your fruit is the voice of your wisdom, the story of your soul’s journey.
Share it, allow it, grow it, open to it.
You are who you are meant to be.
Now is your time to reveal, blossom and grow from the rich soil of your being.
