Life Book 2018 Blog Hop & Give Away!

Hello everyone!

I have some wonderful & exciting news! I am going to be teaching on Life Book 2018 next year! I can’t wait to be a part of this amazing journey!

And even MORE exciting news is that I can give away 1 space on this amazing year long art course! Keep reading to find out more about Life Book 2018 and to find out how you can win a spot! 🙂

First let me tell you a bit more about Life Book in case you haven’t heard about it yet!

“Life Book, a celebration and honouring of YOU” is a year-long mixed media art class organized by Tamara Laporte from Willowing Arts.

Tam is joined by 23 incredible art teachers who are all gearing up to share their mixed media techniques, tips and tricks with YOU! PLUS this year, Life Book is going to be bigger and better by including another 12 fantastic artists and wellness guides who will focus on additional personal development practices and other art modalities, like sculpting, photography & writing!

Themed around self-development and healing, you’ll be creating several loose mixed media art journal pages per month which by the end of the year you will bind into a glorious journal (a Life Book)! You will have a wonderful keepsake that you can treasure for the rest of your life! You will also be introduced to yoga, aromatherapy, dance and angel energy and other wellness exercises to help support your personal development journey more holistically and imagine the fun we will have getting introduced to and acquainted with some of the other wonderful art forms out there!

You can find out a lot more about this wildly popular course (it has been joined by over 16500+ people in the past!) by clicking HERE!

Where do ideas and images come from? How does the imagination affect our creativity, our art and our vision? I am not a visual artist I’m a storyteller and I love this question!

I have developed a very powerful technique called the InStory process. It is my unique guided process for going inside and accessing images, metaphors, stories and messages from your subconscious.   I will be adapting the InStory Process specifically for Willowing Arts Life Book 2018. In this program we are going to create a way for you to tap into extraordinary subconscious content filled with images, metaphors, messages and magic. You will then be able to take this content into your art in any form that calls to you. This deep InStory work will also give you access to integrating your mission, your message, your vision and your purpose with images that hold these bigger visions and allow you to tap into the emotions that empower your art. I have had extraordinary experiences already with clients who are visual artists using this InStory work to inspire their art. I know you’ll find the InStory guided process a powerful inspiration on your willowing arts Life Book journey.

Registration opens on September 12th 2017 and the class begins on January 1st 2018.

So if you want to start the year with a fabulous creative BANG and spend 2018 with a wonderful creative community of like-minded souls, learning more about art and how to be kinder and more loving towards yourself, be sure to join once registration opens! 🙂 Keep this page bookmarked so that you can sign up the moment it goes on sale! 🙂

Now then, onto the give-away and blog hop! 🙂 I can give away 1 space on Life Book 2018 to 1 lucky winner, yay! 🙂 And if you follow the blog hop (see below for links and dates) you can up your chances of winning a space by entering all the other give-aways also! 🙂

I joined Life Book for the first time in 2017 and loving all that I am experiencing and learning. It would be wonderful to continue this journey and my story in 2018 with Life Book.

  51. Zoe Gregg says:

After being in the first lifebook class and missing out since then, I want to be back in Lifebook next year. It’s going to be tight making it happen, our youngest son is going to be studying for his Masters degree and we will be financially supporting him through that, with every spare penny, because him waiting and working to earn the money for the masters is not an option as he has 2 chronic conditions that could get worse over time, and he can’t risk not being ABLE by the time he has earned enough.

That’s another reason I need Lifebook back in my life. I have got so immersed in taking care of him and worrying about him when he is away that any space for me has been squeezed out. It’s not that I don’t HAVE time, but that I feel guilty taking that time. LifeBook would be my investment in myself, my commitment to look after me in the midst of everything else.

  52. Sass Hammant says:

Only Tamara could get this much talent all in the same place… what an exciting, insightful, tremendously fun filled course this will be. I would love to learn how to bring my feelings out in my Art Work, get it out of my head, my heart. I am a carer for my Husband, who does home dialysis every day. His eyesight is very bad due to his diabetes so I do it all for him. I love him so much but some times I really would love to get these little bad feelings that sneak into my heart/head out of me and replace them with more love. A real life changer to be sure…

  53. Michelle says:

Hi Devora, have been following you for awhile now so I’m already on your newsletter list. I’ve shared to my Facebook page. I have been a lifebooker for a few years now and just love the community and lessons not to mention the wonderful Tamara. Lifebook gave me confidence to start my own art business and create my oracle deck Gold Lotus. I’d love to be in 2018 Lifebook.

  60. Kathy DeFord says:

    Hi Deborah!

I would absolutely love to win the free spot! I just started my art journey last year and it has been such a blessing for me. You see I lost both my parents and my step mom all within 7 months of each other in 2016! This was extremely hard and without this outlook I don’t think I would have gotten through it. Lifebook 2017 has taught me so much and has helped heal me! I would love to continue down this journey! Also noticed you will be announcing the winner on my moms birthday! So I thought I would try to win! Thank you so much!

  61. Temperance says:

  63. Anna says:

I’ve been doing lifebook this year for the first time & I would love to keep going in 2018 because it’s a fantastic course which has changed my life. I fully recommend it to anybody 🙂

  68. Karen Haworth says:

I am not sure that I have a story to tell or perhaps it just needs coaxing out. Interested to find out.

  69. Prerna Poojara says:

Namaste. Such a lovely line up. And this time it seems bigger than before. more inspiration to get unstuck and move forward. Fingers crossed. Blessings and more…

  70. Jessica Jidas says:

Life Book has been such an amazing blessing in my life! I’m a High school art teacher and rarely have time to make art for myself, but I make the time thanks to LB! I also get to incorporate all the things I learn into my school lessons to expose my students to new artists and techniques. ❤️

  71. Shannon Pratt says:

2 months ago I was in a coma in the ICU. I was not expected to live but I did and my art means more to me now that ever. Love that life book is both art and spirituality.

  72. Susu Ko says:

I often try to write in a diary, but it´s difficult to get the access… would love to hear about your method! Thank you for the giveaway!

  73. Karyle says:

Shared on FB. I want to learn new techniques and be more challenged in my art. I tend to play it safe and I don’t want to be that person anymore. I want to jump out of the box and discover who I am as an artist. LifeBook can help me do that. I need this class in my life.

  74. Regina Paul says:

You know when you ask why I want to join Lifebook that’s an easy question. I never thought I could draw before I took a class from Tamara LaPorte and now I love it and yes, I can draw. The opportunity to learn from other teachers would be my main reason for wanting to do Lifebook 2018. This would be my first time. Thank you for the opportunity!

Glad that I came across your site. Yoga has been a dream of mine but due to being ill for the last 4 weeks I have had to postpone my idea. My mom goes on a regular basis though so will join her as soon as I am able. Secondly, this would be such a great opportunity to win a space. I’ve been dealing with 9 years of struggling both health and financial wise. My family has endured a very long path of pain and I believe some healing is in dire need. I know there are a lot of people struggling financially and physically, so I am just another soul searching for some kind of relief. Hoping and praying that there is someone out there whom will be willing to give me an opportunity to better myself and my life. Sending lots of love to everyone. May you have a blessed day. Hugs and kisses from South Africa xxx
